How to Read Facebook Chat Messages Yet Stay Undetected - Disable "Seen" in Chat

- Want to stay away from annoying people in Facebook Chat?
- Do you want to skip replying to people whom you don't want to chat with?
In the past you could have just left the conversation without giving an reply or pretend as if you didn't see the message.But ever since Facebook has introduced the feature "Seen on" or "Seen By" you don't have any option to skip replying to others message as others will get notified as soon as you see the message.
- There is no default Facebook Privacy Settings to "Disable" this feature.So in this post I will be explaining a trick where we will be using third party applications which serve our need.
Installing FB Unseen:
Features of this Extension:
- All the chat messages you read stay undetected .That means your friends wont be able to see option "Seen",so he wont know whether you read the message or not.
- Easy installation.
- Available for all major browsers.
For Google Chrome Users:
- Go to this web page [Fb Unseen]
- Then you can straight away add this extension to chrome.
- As soon as you click Add to chrome it will be installed and will be enabled by default.
For Mozilla Firefox Users:
- Mozilla firefox users first install Grease Monkey Addon.
- Then go to this page[Facebook Stealth]
- Install the script to your browser.
Other Browsers:
If you are using any other browser than Google chrome or mozilla then here is a way to make this trick work.
- Block the below URL in your browser using Adblock.
facebook.com/ajax/mercury/change_read_status.php
- Don't worry it wont harm your PC and Facebook Profile.
How to uninstall this extension/Addon:
Un-installation is as simple as installation.
- If you are using Google Chrome go to Tools -> Extensions and there you can enable/disable or completely remove the extension.

- If you are a mozilla firefox user then go to Addons from drop down menu and there you can uninstall the extension.
- For other browsers just unblock the url above and everything should come back to normal.
